Prayer Ministry

We have a Prayer Ministry team who are a group of people available to pray for others (something we should all do in greater or lesser measure). They have received training in prayer ministry (not counselling), and meet regularly to pray for each other and the needs of others. They are available to pray with you at all 10 o’clock Sunday services.

They also operate a prayer chain, so that urgent needs can be communicated to the rest of the group from any one person.

Praying for one another is a very practical expression of community. It often happens in home groups. However, many times people suffer in silence and carry huge burdens which they could easily share with others.

May we encourage you to ask for prayer if this is the case. Not just from the clergy, but from “one another”. We know the prayer ministry team would be especially pleased to support you. The prayer ministry team operates under a code of strict confidentiality. If you would like the clergy to be made aware of the situation, or for prayer to be included in our wider prayer ministry please let a member of the team know.

Please contact them in one of the ways mentioned above, or via this website.

May we also encourage you to consider joining the prayer ministry team? This would involve some training, and a recommendation from the church leaders. Do consider whether God may be calling you to serve others in this way.

If you are interested in joining in a group please contact one of the group leaders.
